Parks, ancient refers to the official garden, while modern generally refers to the government built and operated as a natural viewing area and public resting area. Shashan Park is still very famous in Shanshan County, because there are more desert styles here, plus artificial buildings and synthetic scenery, so that the park area is large, specific is more prominent.

Shashan Park is located in Kumu Tage Desert Park in Shanshan County, Xinjiang. The entire scenic spot is still quite large, with deserts and lakes, which is also the biggest feature of this desert scenic spot. However, I think the biggest difference between the desert here and the desert in Ningxia Shapotou and Tarim Basin is that his sand mountain is very high. If we want to climb to the highest point of the desert, it takes a lot of effort, but there is another advantage to climb to the highest point. You can slide down the sandy hill. You don't have to worry about not sliding, there are people who rent sandboarding tools below, or you can slide down by sitting on your own.

Shashan Park is located in Shanshan County, very close to Turpan. It is the closest desert to the city in the world. Uyghur "Kumutag" means "Shashan". This is a flowing sand mountain. General tourists come here to play beach SUVs, sandboarding, etc. Shanshan County decided to hold an international sand sculpture festival in the Kumtage Desert every year from August 2004, injecting new connotations into Turpan Grape Festival. Shanshan County was once the ancient Silk Road to rush, the Western civilization left a shining page here, so, excavating and promoting Silk Road culture, through artistic means to reproduce the style of Silk Road culture, is the eternal theme of the Shamtag International Sand Sculpture Festival in Shanshan County.

On the sand dunes in the south of Shashan Park, the summer is hot, the winter is cold, and the temperature difference between day and night is large. Whenever in midsummer, the temperature is extremely high, and the surface sand temperature can reach more than 7℃, the highest is 82.3℃. The sand treatment area has been opened in the park, and many patients such as arthritis have come to treat. Not far south is the area where the big dunes are located.
