The first Seto Inside International Festival was held in the summer of 2010. It was subtitled "100-day adventures of art and ocean" and took the stage of seven islands such as Naoshima, Toyoshima, Nyoki, Makishima, Kodoshima, Oshima, Doshima and Idoshima as well as Takamatsu. The wind in the Seto Inland Sea in mid-October was very cold, but the temperature was quite high and it felt very refreshing. Only by actually going to the local area, stopping at various places, feeling the surrounding atmosphere, can you understand this place in detail. Guests who come to the festival experience this experience and tell a wide variety of people their experience while enjoying the artwork. This way, the number of guests visiting the island will increase because of these word of mouth visits. Guests will also talk to locals about things other than works, such as "it is not easy to grow rice in such a place", "do you want to restore the paddy fields", etc. The locals are happy about this.
