Setia Darma House of Mask and Puppets Review

We were surprised to discover this museum. It was helpful to understand the dance and costumes of Bali people. The history of the traditional Joglo house of the Java people where the masks are furnished is also very interesting. The venue and setting are fascinating for a quiet and peaceful journey. This museum has a lot of Bali masks, very detailed introduction, worth stopping. There are also some puppets inside, I think it is not so fun compared to the comparison. The museum is not big, but if you are interested in the Bali masks, it is definitely worth spending about half an hour or so to experience the collection in detail

An amazing collection of masks and puppets from Indonesia and other countries around the world. Ranging from the gruesome to the lifelike to the fantastical and beyond the masks and puppets here are incredibly diverse, well kept and beautifully presented. Well worth a visit.
