The Palace of Schonz is a world cultural heritage, known as the Little Versailles Palace, built in the late 17th century. The first emperor of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Franz Joseph I, was born in Schonzal and lived with Queen Sisi for a long time until his death in 1916. It is said that Schönbrunn Palace has nearly 1,500 rooms, beautifully decorated and diverse in style, in addition to rococo or baroque, there are special oriental classical rooms, including Chinese and Japanese. Of course, as visitors can only visit a small part of it, because the palace of the Schönbrunn Palace can not be photographed and video, so the visit is almost complete. However, the huge Schönbrunn Palace Garden is impressive. The garden area of Schönbrunn Palace Garden reaches 2 million square meters, which is European platform style, very beautiful and lingering. At the highest point at the end of the garden slope of Schönbrunn Palace, a majestic Arc de Triomphe-shaped building was built in a multi-door style, wider than the general Arc de Triomphe, and can be seen from a distance. You need to walk a few hundred meters or take a sightseeing carriage to arrive, you can buy tickets to take the elevator to the top, so that you can overlook the magnificent scenery of Schönbrunn Palace.

    5/5Outstanding

I would say that the Schönbrunn Palace is a must-go attraction in Austria, Vienna. One of my best attractions visiting so far. The place is absolutely stunning with its interior architecture and rich of history dating back to the Empress Maria Theresa. Unfortunately photo taking aren’t allowed in the place but I managed to snap some photos in its exterior compound. Highly recommended to join a tour guide to explain its history to you.

    4/5Excellent

Walking through the luxurious rooms and halls of the palace makes you feel like you are in a fairy tale. it was a huge palace with a very wide garden. Take the grand tour if there is time in order to explore more. I had the imperial tour, which is pretty quick because I arrived a bit late and the grand tour isn't possible anymore. Nevertheless, it was a great visit and also enjoyed exploring the sorroundings through the rented carriage.

    1/5Terrible

Totally overrated. Hofburg is much better (Sisi museum). a lot of tourists and so expensive. Hot in summer too 😡
