The church has no religious activities and can not be visited. The square is also very quiet. I am the only visitor. There are only a few elderly people in the local area. It is quite different from the lively St. Sophia Church Square. It is so convenient for me to enjoy it quietly. The Church, formerly known as the Orthodox Church, was built in 1930. After five years of construction, the church was named St. Alekseyev Church because it is located in what the Russians call "Alekseyevka Village" (in today's Xiangfang District). It was converted to Catholic Church after 1980. Although the appearance of the church is not as grand as that of the Orthodox Church, it is a little more beautiful. Red brick, golden cross, symmetrical cross-shaped plane layout, as well as a strong Russian style tent apex, and commonly known as "onion top". Like a fine brushwork, it is exquisite and delicate everywhere.
