When you come to the tropical rainforest park, the tour projects include: safari park / tropical fruit park / land and water dual-use car / butterfly park / Australian indigenous performance programs. Before coming to Australia, we booked the Kulanda tropical rainforest package online early: cable car to + train back. We participated in the hot air balloon project early in the morning, and after the hot air balloon company shuttle bus took us directly to Smithfield cable car station to start our trip to Kuranda Rainforest Park. This arrangement is really wonderful, saving money and wasting time. If you go to the cable car, you have to take a taxi or take a bus, the cable car station is still a bit away from the city center. At around 9 o'clock, we arrived at Smithfield cable car station, the first cable car to start at 9:30, just after 4 o'clock, have not eaten anything, take out the breakfast package prepared by the hotel for us to eat. The cableway is7.5 kilometers long. After a year of construction, it was completed in 1995. In order to avoid damaging the rainforest ecology, all the cableway tower columns are suspended by helicopters during the construction process. The Red Peak cable car station at 545 meters above sea level is the highest point of this cableway. A cable car cableway sightseeing takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Stop at two transit stations along the way, Red Peak Station and Byron Falls Station Barron Falls, you can get off the cable car to enjoy the tropical rainforest scenery up close, listen to the forest ranger for your guide, each stop for about 20 minutes. Take the cable car here, although a cable car can take 6 people, but the staff will not ask people who do not know to take a car (I don't know how to deal with many people), so if you are traveling alone, then a chic person takes a cable car, unless you want to talk to others, The premise is that others are willing to take a ride with you. After the cable car arrived in Kuranda, we wandered around the town, had lunch and took the 2pm train back to Cairns. The whole train journey took 1 hour and 45 minutes. From Kuranda, there are only two trains (2:00 and 3:30 pm), the train will cross the Baron Canyon, 37 kilometers, a total of 16 stations along the way, along the way, the train broadcast will introduce you to the background information of each station, at Baron Falls Station, the train will stay for 10 minutes, Get off at the observation deck to enjoy the view of Barron Falls, which is 329 meters above sea level and 265 meters above sea level. On the way back, there is a stop called Qingshui Station Freshwater Station. There are many tourists who get off the bus. If you live in Cairns city, don't follow the bus. It is quite far from the city. You have to get off at the terminal Cairns station Cairns Station. Going to the Kuranda Rainforest, the cable car to + train back, in my opinion is the best arrangement.
