Zhongshan Road, Quanzhou is a traditional commercial street, running through the north and south of the city, and is an important area for the protection of the ancient city "three front lines". It was formed in the 1920s and 1930s of the last century. Along the street, the column-style arcade condensed the essence of Nanyang-style architecture, which is called "Southern country rainy days, the arcade can avoid the wind", which is the only and most complete row-type arcade building commercial street in China. On Zhongshan Road, the Roman-style clock tower, the Shanghai barber shop, the Christian church where Shi Xuan's back garden is located, the Tzu Chi Palace of Huaqiao, and the Palace of Xiucai reading, also exude the unique charm of the ancient city.
