Plaza de España is located at the west end of Madrid's Granvia Avenue, not far from the Palace of Madrid. The center of the square is the monument to Cervantes, and the pure white tower north of the square is the Madrid Tower. The square is surrounded by ancient Roman-style corridors, arches, and pillars, known as the most beautiful square in Spain.
