The Wotland Square. The Wotland Square is located in the peninsula (between the Thorne and the Rhone) and is the heart of Lyon. In the center of the square is an art fountain built in the 19th century, depicting four Hummers in chariots, which symbolize the river running all the way to the sea. The entire area of the square is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
