The University of Pennsylvania Archaeology and Humanity Museum is famous in the archaeological community and is a world-class museum. This museum knows very few people and is highly recommended. I was surprised it was founded as early as 1887, and I was surprised that it had a million pieces in its collection, and even more surprised that the dome hall in the center of the museum was left with Chinese artifacts. In the middle of the hall is the crystal ball of the Queen Cixi's favorite small watermelon, reflecting the reflection of the opposite scenery through the crystal ball, magical and interesting. Two huge murals on both sides of the hall, from the mural of Guangsheng Temple in Hongdong County, Shanxi Province, are the same monastery as the giant pharmacist's statement in the Metropolitan Museum of New York, which shows that the museum's collection is extremely high. The most watched exhibits by the Chinese are two god horses from the Zhaoling Tomb of Tang Taizong. The Egyptian collection of the Penn Museum is considered one of the best in the world, with a large collection of statues, mummies and reliefs, the most famous is its collection of towers, 13 tons of Ramses II's granite sphinx, very striking. We also saw many mummies, there were kittens mummies, and several mummies were stripped and displayed, which was also an eye-opener. The archaeological restoration laboratory, you can see the restoration work through the glass, and there are several mummies inside. However, I still felt infiltrated, and I didn't look at the pictures carefully to explain if archaeological excavations and restorations were done. There is a hall on the first floor of the basement, a restored part of the Egyptian temple, and a sphinx of the treasure of the town hall. How to get, how to move, how to make a home in this museum in Philadelphia, there are detailed pictures. Summer trip, half price, $10. Worth it
