Patanduba Square is one of the three ancient palace squares in the Kathmandu Valley. In addition to the ancient palace, the temples are full of the most amazing "Newark architecture" in Nepal. The palace and its museums, the temple of the goddess Talezhu, etc. occupy the entire eastern part of the square. The western part of the square is densely packed with different temples, arranged in an irregular manner. There are mainly 16 temples and courtyards, 7 pillars and open-air statues, the most famous of which are the Black Tenjin Temple, Black Tian Temple, Harisanka Temple, Vishnu Temple, Piswanat Temple, etc. The Golden Temple is at the end of the square, on the north side of the palace.
