Palace of Fine Arts Review

The San Francisco Palace of Art is a monumental building originally built for the 1915 Panama Pacific International Expo to display artwork. It is the only structure that survived the Expo. The most prominent building in the Palace of Art is a 49-metre-high open rotunda, surrounded by a lagoon on one side and adjacent to a large arced exhibition center, separated by a colonnade from the lagoon, which is very distinctive.
