Ovahe Beach Review

Ovahe Beach is one of two beaches on Easter Island, the other is more famous is Anakai Beach. I found some comments on tripadvisor related to Anakai Beach. Ovache Beach is about two kilometers away from the east side of Anakai Beach. To get to Ovache Beach, you need to walk along a gravel road away from the avenue and then walk along an informal sheepsuit trail through a variety of stones, which is really a very difficult sporting challenge. The sand on this beach is so fine that it is almost completely submerged at high tide. On both sides are towering cliffs that may be in danger of boulders falling. I see people saying it is strictly illegal to swim here, although no one should want to swim here. If you want to swim, I would recommend going to Anakai Beach because it is more beautiful and easier to reach.

Ovahe Beach is very different on Easter Island, there are no stone statues, only broad beaches, and flat green grass. There are coconut groves on the beach, and under the coconut groves are free-range black hens, which are important local products and economic sources. You can try it in the restaurant here, it tastes great.
