Our Lady of Carmel Church Review

The only Catholic Church in Taipa parish is Taipa Cathedral, less than 5 minutes' walk from the famous hand letter street "Guanye Street" in Taipa. The church's weekday mass begins at 7:30 a.m., early mass begins at 6:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays at 8:45 a.m., followed by English and Portuguese mass. Quakers and non-Quakers are welcome to participate in the Gratitude Sacrifice. The interior of the church is mostly yellow and white, with a small auditorium on the left. The second floor is the chanting building and is not open to the public. In the middle of the altar is the statue of the Virgin Mary holding the Son of Jesus, and above is the statue of Christ crucified. On the left side of the altar is the wall sticker of Jesus' Sacred Heart, and on the right side is the wall sticker of St. Joseph holding the baby Jesus. Near the church is the beautiful Taipa Municipal Park and Longhuan Luyun Wetland, which is the most pleasant at dusk.

It just happened to be a good day. Many Macau newcomers have religious ceremonies for marriage, so it is quite lively. Opposite the church is the Macau Civil Registration Bureau, the official agency for marriage registration, so newcomers can perform official ceremonies and religious ceremonies at once.

Macau's Longhuan Portuguese Yun Going up a little [Cathedral of Our Lady of Jiamo] is not open to the public now, so I can't go in and visit, but every time I pass by here, it happens to be at sunset. I feel that the scenery outside the church is as beautiful as a painting. The scenery and small details outside the church are also very beautiful. Taipa is a place full of European style. I have time to go here and I feel beautiful and comfortable.

There are many churches on the Macau Peninsula, which are large in scale and have some aesthetic fatigue. However, the Notre Dame of Jammu Church, located in the middle of the Golden Walk of the Venetian Hotel, is a small and fresh feeling. It is the only Catholic Church in Wanzai. It is a three-storey building with a small bell tower on top. Not only tourists like it, but also local people like it. Every time they pass by, they will see many new people coming to take wedding photos. The cross and straw in the square in front of the church also have religious implications.
