Osaka Castle Main Tower (Osaka Castle Museum) Review

The landmark of Osaka city. One of the best place to see the mable leaf. Explain the life of Toyotomi Hideyoshi. You can imagine how he felt when he stood on the top floor of the castle, while looking at his kingdom.

This is the core attraction of Osaka Castle, showing the historical relics of Osaka Castle. Visited the castle and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of ancient architecture. The scenery here is pleasant, the long traditional culture and the rich natural landscape are worth seeing.

It is one of the most iconic castles in Japan and the only one with green hues to its design (from my recollection of all the castles I have visited in Japan). The park surrounding the is very beautiful and peaceful. This is located in the middle of the busy Osaka city so people and tourists could drop by to chill and enjoy the peace amidst the busy streets. Very minimal changes were noted from my visit in May 2016 and Nov 2019. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to enter the museum on both visits.

Tianshou Pavilion is the core building of the entire Osaka Castle. The admission fee is 300 yen, which is very cheap. Inside is a type of museum, mainly describing the history of Toyoson Shouji in the Shofu era. The exhibits and materials are very detailed. From the perspective of tourists, it is an important landmark in Osaka.

There is a long queue for on-site ticket purchases, at least an hour or more, through Trip.com ticket purchases, about a few minutes later, it is determined, the QR code is very convenient to enter the park. I hope Trip.com will make persistent efforts to build a global ticket purchase platform for Chinese people!
