Skopjej is the capital of Macedonia, with the old and new districts divided into the old Bazaar and the new district bordering the river. The old district is basically a Muslim residential area and the Bazaar (market), small streets and alleys, no trees, small shops, selling more goods with ethnic colors. There are many mosques in the area. I was going to look for a more famous mosque according to the travel guide book. I didn't find it for a long time. I stopped exploring because of the limited time and the summer heat (37 degrees). This old town can go or not, basically no point.



Found this shop called Ambrosia in old bazaar, absolutely amazing turkish sweets inside, came here only because my guide recommended it. Old bazaar is definitely a must visit spot for anyone visiting Skopje.
