Located in Nuuanu Pali State Park, Dafengkou is a famous scenic spot on Oahu Island. The Koolau Mountains, which run through the eastern coast of Oahu Island, are the remnants of the ancient volcanoes that created Oahu Island. The endless peaks only show a gap in the area around the windbreak. Whether people or the wind, they take it for granted that this is the best way to cross the mountains. Highway 62 in Hawaii, Pali Highway, has chosen to cross the Koolau Mountains to connect the two cities of Kailua and Kneohe in the northeastern corner of the island with Honolulu in the centre of the island. From here, you can see the scenery of the northeastern plain of the island at a glance. The constant northwest trade winds also choose here, and the strong winds often whistle past.
