The Nianqing Tanggula Mountains, located in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China, belong to the fault-block mountains. It runs through the middle and eastern part of Tibet, extending eastward from the Gangdise Mountains. It extends southeast to the Boshura Mountains in the southwestern part of Hengduan Mountains, and protrudes slightly northward in the central part. At the same time, Tibet is divided into three regions: northern Tibet, southern Tibet and southeastern Tibet. South-east near the Yarlung Zangbo River turning point of the Namgabawa Peak. The Nianqing Tanggula Mountains are controlled by the East-West Nujiang fault zone and Yarlung Zangbo fault zone. The compression fold is a high mountain system with an average altitude of more than 6000 meters. Its ridge line is located to the west of Dangxiong-Yangbajing, with a total length of 1400 kilometers, an average width of 80 kilometers, an altitude of 5000-6000 meters. The main peak of Nianqing Tanggula is 7111 meters above sea level, with white snow covered all the year round. The Nianqing Tanggula Mountains are also the largest glacier area in the southeastern part of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The western section is the boundary between the inward and outflow areas, and the eastern section is the watershed of the Yarlung Zangbo and Nujiang rivers. On the northwest side is the Great Lake Area of Northern Tibet, the largest of which is Namco Lake. Legend has it that there is a mysterious Crystal Palace in Mount Qingtanggula. The door of the palace is inlaid with all kinds of gems, which shines in all directions. The bottom of the palace is a sea of dew. The middle part is filled with rainbow and mist. There are white clouds on the top of the palace. When the dew stops, the flowers blossom around it.
