It is difficult to see all the cultural attractions at once. The National Museum, which focuses on exhibiting all kinds of cultural relics, is the preferred place for a comprehensive understanding of Yangon. The six-storey exhibition areas of the National Museum display various scenes of Myanmar from ancient times to present, from folk customs to religion, including the Lion throne and the Buddhist statues of Pugan. Natural History Showroom - Shows primate fossils 40 million years ago, marine and terrestrial vertebrates and invertebrate fossils, as well as bark and seed fossils found in different parts of Myanmar. Myanmar Folk Art Exhibition Hall - Shows Myanmar National Opera, Musical Instruments and Puppet Opera. Myanmar Art Gallery (1) -- Display paintings by ancient and modern artists. Myanmar Art Gallery (2) - 10 Gataka painted in oil on metal. Sakyamuni Statue Exhibition Hall - Shows statues and tablets of Sakyamuni from Puyu Period to Adanabao Period. Ethnic Culture Exhibition Hall - Demonstrates Myanmar's traditional customs, musical instruments and handicraft products embodying national culture in a model. Generally speaking, the level of Museum exhibition in Myanmar is not high, but the exhibition mode has a remarkable feature - "pour all its possessions". So when you walk into the Myanmar National Museum, you really can't catch a glimpse of the exhibits, but it takes a lot of effort to get knowledge about Myanmar's history before you go to the exhibition.
