我第一次见到把国家博物馆和政府文化厅放在一起的国家。大概也就只有经济落后的费用是这样吧。博物馆里的藏品难以给人留下深刻印象，英文标识也少。

1.博物馆位于位于市中心Kivukoni附近，离BRT公交站很近；2.这个博物馆看上去不小，但是真正对外开放的展馆不多，拿的出手的展品也不多；3.展厅里有提到在坦桑发觉出来的古人类化石，有阿拉伯艺术的传入，有海上丝绸之路，也有象牙贸易，还有一些海洋生物化石，甚至有反恐怖主义的户外展厅；4.但是我认为比较特别的内容应该是非洲古人类岩画艺术展，虽然都是以图片形式展出，但是融合了全非洲的岩画艺术也是不多见的；5.另外就是来自非洲近现代艺术家George Lilanga生前在民用建筑上的创作遗产，正静静的躺在博物馆的后院；6.博物馆的外国游客门票价格为6500先令，约合￥19元。
