Museum of the North Review

Fairbanks in winter has a short daytime period, and there is thick snow everywhere, so there is no other place to go to the museum. The Northern Polar Museum is located on the Fairbanks campus of the University of Alaska. It will be dark after shopping, and the sunset is beautiful.

Arriving in Aragas is almost Christmas, but I don't know why the Arctic Museum is not open, which is a little disappointing for my museum control. However, strolling around the museum, the snow scene is super beautiful

Gallery of Alaska, on the first floor of the museum, is the largest exhibition hall in the museum. It mainly introduces Alaska's flora and fauna, Alaska's history and ethnicity. The entrance of the exhibition hall is the treasure of the town hall - a big brown bear. On the first floor of the museum, there are three movies circulating in the projection hall. They are about the formation of aurora, the winter in Alaska and the whales in the Alaskan sea area. Not only can we learn about Alaska's history, feel the charm of the aurora, but also make the day waiting for the aurora very meaningful. There is a room on the second floor called "The Place Where You Go To Listen" which is dedicated to listening to the aurora. Entry needs to be quiet. Today is Christmas 25th December 2019. It is said that museums and restaurants are not open, but we have nothing to do and we went for a trip. After the heavy snow, the snow on the ground did not cross the feet, and there was a morning light at 12 o'clock. We met a group of Chinese people, playing in the snow, listening to them that they just came yesterday, have a stomach, meet Christmas, there is no place to eat. We live in Sophie station, we can cook by ourselves, the food is incomparable!

At the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, the northernmost university, the Museum of North in the UAF has a large number of polar animal specimens.
