The Mozarthaus is an intimate 4 story museum on a little alley near the Stephansdom Cathedral, in the former living quarters where Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart lived when he was in Vienna between 1784 and 1787. You can get a feel for how he lived and see some of his works, artifacts and tools of the trade in composing some of the greatest pieces of music, including his Requim Mass in D Minor, his unfinished tribute to his father.Mozart did stay all over Vienna, but this is the only place that has been turned into a museum, and was refurbished in 2006 for his 250th birthday. The cost is about 9 Euros for adults.
