Ceramic town (Moustiers-sainte-marie) Between the lavender road and Holy Cross Lake, the whole town is built on the mountainside, surrounded by mountains, the small town is exquisite, also magnificent, condescending. The house is built with local limestone, built on the hillside, dense, and spectacular from the bottom of the mountain, and from a distance, like a city built on a stone mountain. Ceramic town, as the name implies, because it is full of ceramic artwork, there are many ceramic shops passed down from generation to generation, every ceramic product is handmade, smoked purple, flowers, small animals are their favorite theme. There is a colorful beauty, the tranquil atmosphere of South France is just right. At the foot of the ceramic town, you can see a pure gold star hanging between limestone cliffs. This striking Venus is the symbol of a ceramic town, served by a heroic knight who returned safely from the Crusades. The center of the town is a clear stream from the canyon, and on the top of the stone mountain next to the town, there is a church. It takes about 20 minutes to climb the mountain from the town. Every step is made of stones. The monastery on the top of the mountain also has a sculpture of Jesus. Climb all the way to the observation deck at the highest point, look back, and the whole red roof is at your feet, which is particularly beautiful. I came to France for the third time and I liked Provence the most, not because of lavender, but because of a small town like this, although it looks similar, it is actually unique. The ancient history of precipitation, quiet and indifferent but charming, the overall feeling is rich and delicate, you can walk leisurely and experience the beauty of it.
