It makes me feel sad that an old building group which has been popular in movies has not been developed into an expensive tourist attraction (it is free). Dozens of dwellings with different styles surround a square. Most of the exterior walls of the old buildings are mottled and unmaintained, but the atmosphere of Meijia Grand Courtyard in its heyday can still be felt. There are also many local residents selling specialty products here, but unlike tourist attractions, besides not having tickets, there is also a strong breath of life: playing mahjong, drying clothes, driving tractors, not disturbed by visitors, of course, perhaps because there is no deliberate publicity, or traffic is slightly less convenient, tourists are not many.
