The Fort Masada is a desert southwest of the Dead Sea, standing on a steep hill, overlooking the Dead Sea and the desolate and magnificent wilderness on the silent side. The Fort Masada was built by Herod the Jewish King and has a history of nearly two thousand years. The castle was destroyed by the Romans and the city was slaughtered. The ruins in the castle include palaces, city defenses, granaries and rainwater collection channels during the Herod period of the Jewish king; there are also historical relics such as baths, reservoirs, Byzantine Christian churches in ancient Rome, and there are also Jewish prayer classics, which are rich in religion. The archaeological value of architectural art is an important historical monument for archaeologists. The Masada castle is dangerous and the mountain road is bumpy. In addition to the newly built aerial cable car, there are two mountain roads. The slope of the snake-eel road in the west is slow, the ancient emperors walked up and down the Masada castle, the mountain road in the middle is straight and steep, it is the ancient war emergency, the messenger and spies walk the road, come quickly and hard. Masada Castle was excavated by a professor at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 1963 to 1965, leading an archaeological team. Today’s Masada Fort is not only an important tourist attraction in Israel, but also a very important patriotic education base, where Jewish adult rituals and the New Army oath are held every year. Its “Never Falling Spirit of Masada” is still admired and followed by Jewish descendants.
