Marina City is known as the Corn Tower because it resembles the corn cob in shape. It has become a landmark of Chicago successfully. It has appeared in a large number of related film and television works and brochures. The complex consists of two 61-storey, 179-metre-high residential buildings with a unique design of "Midtown". It includes restaurants, theatres, bowling alleys and wharfs for 700 boats.
