Maison Bes Review

Very charm restaurant, delicious food, kind owners. We have been two times, and will come back again. Thank you for the nice evenings.

My go to place for a wonderful upscale delicious dinner without the pretentious price! I go back twice a year and whenever I am in Paris. My first time came at the suggestion of my hotel front desk. They referred me to the place across the street and hesitantly I chose to go. Since then, I can't imagine a trip to Paris without dinner at Maison Bes. Violet addressed every request I have ever had. Like when there was no foie gras on the menu but at my request she delivered. Makes my Paris experience that much better!

Just around the corner from our hotel, we chose Maison Bes for convenience. We enjoyed the experience so well, we will return each time we are in Paris.

I thought the food was very good -- I had hake which is a fish. My husband liked his steak. I just felt the blonde woman who greeted us was not as welcoming as most hosts we have encountered at restaurants. She didn't smile and kept hitting my foot as she brushed through the place serving and greeting. The gentleman, however, was lovely. It was also the most expensive meal we had here. I'm not sure I would return, .mostly because because we didn't feel a warmth and the price was too high for what it was.

Violette was a fantastic host. As restaurant owner, she was welcoming and engaging to our American group. Everyone loved their meals. The paté and the beef were especially delicious. A great place to enjoy a night out with friends.
