One day, the girl rescued a half-dead little carp from the hands of several naughty children, and gently held it back to the river. The original body of the small carp is the three princes of the East China Sea Dragon King, because he violated the "Tiantiao", the sin of the king turned into the small carp exiled into the river. The little carp was very grateful for the rescue of the girl. After that, whenever the girl came to the riverside to wash the carp, it always swam in front of the girl. In order to avoid the little carp from playing with the urchin, the girl carefully took it back to the village head well. Local residents named the well "Longjing" in honor of them. This well is also mysterious because of this beautiful love legend. Longjing's place name is also due to this beautiful legend. The original stone monument by the well was damaged in the ten-year catastrophe. Longjing Municipal Government rebuilt the "Longjing" stone monument in 1986 in order to educate future generations to love the country and love their hometown.
