Lieshan Ancient Tombs Review

The ancient tombs of Lieshan are distributed in the jurisdiction of Lang County. It is a group of ancient tombs in the Tubu period. The large scale is behind the nine-story demon building. There is a mountain in the west of the Lieshan tombs. The 210 large tombs are strangely built. The whole tombs stretch for a few kilometers. It is a rare tomb landscape in China.

The ancient tomb of Lieshan is located in the south foot of Lieshan Mountain, northeast of Lie Village, Jindong Township, Lang County, Nyingchi District. It is a cemetery in the Tang Dynasty. It has trapezoidal, square, round, sub-zigzag and square-circle composite shape. The tomb construction technology mainly uses a typical Tibetan architectural style of sandwich wood construction method. Such a tomb group is rare, it is very important to study the Tibetan mausoleum system, the burial system has a very important value.
