Leith Review

Water of Leith is a canal in Edinburgh. It takes about 45 minutes to walk along the river from Dean's village to the pier. There are clear trail signs along the river. There are few pedestrians, beautiful scenery and quiet. There are many cafes, bars and restaurants at the pier. The Queen's yacht in the port can be visited.

Liss was once considered a rundown area of the city and has been restored and rectified in recent years, walking or taking a bus to the end of Liss Road, walking left will eventually reach the Ocean Pier and the Royal Yacht Britannia, and will encounter a more interesting bar and restaurant area by the sea.
