Langmu Temple is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery, it is located in Langmu Temple Township, 90 kilometers south of Luqu County, Gansu, on the banks of the Bailong River in the north of Guoer Mangliang, a branch of Xiqingshan. "Langmu" is the meaning of Tibetan "fairy", because of its cave stone rock like the pavilion jade girl, the folk called the fairy, so the name is named. Langmu Temple after the forest deep in the tiger hole, Tibetan called "Dehecang", so the name of the temple can be translated as "fairy in the tiger hole". Langmu Temple is relatively high above sea level, and the surrounding mountainous areas have beautiful scenery.
