La Cote de Boeuf Review

We tried this gem of a restaurant on the recommendation of friends at our resort and we are so glad we did. The beef was by far the best on the island. My wife and I split the cote de boeuf and our daughter also had a steak. The beef was cooked to a perfect medium rare and we all left full and satisfied. The owners are incredibly hospitable and even watched our 10 month old baby so we could enjoy our meal! Dining here and meeting the owners was definitely a highlight of our trip!

We came twice during our stay on Koh Samui and loved it both times. A lady working at our hotel recommended it to us and suggested we try the Onglet steak. I was not disappointed. To give you a better idea of the quality - I have eaten at some amazing steakhouse throughout the UK but none have come close the this. The Onglet was perfectly cooked, tender, flavoursome. Melt in your mouth kind of steak! We also tried the special rump and Fillet which were also really great. The sides were very simple but I really liked that. You choose between a few potato based sides and a sauce. The restaurant itself is hidden away, it isn't a fancy touristy place and doesn't dress itself up too much. The price was very fair - we would be paying triple in a UK city centre. The owner came over on both our visits and asked us how everything was which was nice. Thanks for an amazing meal!

In Bangrak , probably one of the best beef dinner y may have. A parking is there for your cars and bikes, then you enter a nice garden , you will select either a terrace of the cute villa for your diner or the garden place. I fancy a lot the ratio quality price of the place, I love the HAMPE piece of the beef with breen beans and sauted potaoes the new owners are very sweet and have a nice talk with them.
