Kyomizu-dera is the oldest temple in Kyoto. It is called the three major attractions of Kyoto, along with the Kinkaku Temple and Nijo Castle. It was listed on the World Heritage List in 1994. The cherry blossoms are full in spring, and it is one of the cherry-watching places in Kyoto. In autumn, the red maple is refreshing and it is a maple-watching resort.
