Ganbang Gnam (Arab Street) is a Muslim community in Singapore. It is a good place to experience Malay culture and Islamic culture. Walking through the streets, you can enjoy beautiful buildings, feel exotic customs and taste local delicacies. Sudan Mosque is a landmark building in Ganbang gnan. It has an onion-shaped golden dome and a huge prayer hall. It is the largest mosque in Singapore. Not far to the east of the Sudanese mosque is the Malay Traditional Culture Museum, which used to be the Malay Palace and is now a museum displaying Malay heritage. This area is full of strong Arab flavor, everywhere you can see the shawled Arabs.
