French bistro in a relaxing setting in the heart of BangkokI recently visited Indigo which is in a small soi in Soi Convent of Silom Road opposite Molly Malones Irish Pub. It was my second visit. Theres a choice of dining indoors or in the garden. The waitstaff are professional, quick, and unobtrusive. Theres a reasonable wine list although on this occasion we brought our own wine. The menu is extensive with a chefs special menu. Our group of 5 had both entree and main course. The food is bistros style with some touches of Asia. My friend had crab cakes for an entree and I had a Mediterranean style salad. I had pepper steak for the main, which was a generous cut of meat encrusted in peppercorns with additional pepper sauce. My companions all enjoyed their meal. The bill for 5 people for 2 courses each plus corkage was 5800 Baht. We would all definitely go again.
