Many travel notes say that the square is large and really not small, because it spans the economic and cultural center of Phnom Penh. Above the square you can see many Cambodian features, such as the bronze statue of Sihanouk, such as the Independence Monument, and of course the Naga serpent god in Hindu mythology.
