Independence Monument Review

Each floor is surrounded by seven snake gods "Naga" sculptures, a total of 100 heads in the air. At that time, I did not know that the serpent god was closely related to the beliefs of the Cambodian people and that the search for the highest nine-headed serpent god had disappeared. Then the seven-headed serpent god had made me start to notice that "Naga" was regarded as the sacred symbol of the origin of the Cambodian country and the preserver of the prosperity of the kingdom, as well as the subject matter widely used in ancient Cambodian art.
