Hualin Temple is located in Xilaizheng Street, Xiajiu Road, Liwan District, Guangzhou, built in the ordinary eight years (527). Hualin Temple is the first of the four major jungles of Buddhism in Guangzhou, the Chinese Buddhist Zen ancestor Bodhi Damo Chinese-Indian cultural exchange. Hualin Temple was formerly "Xilaiyu", Damo obeyed Master's self-training, Xilai Yihua Zen wonderful purpose, and Liang Wudi ordinary years from the sea to the north bank of the Pearl River outside Guangzhou (now the 9th road), "grass for the grass", and worked hard. In the 12 years of Shunzhi (1655), the first building of the Grand Palace, the second building of the pavilion Pangcha room, changed "Xilaiyu" to "Hualin Temple".
