The Trinity Monastery was built by Monastery Dometius in the 15th century and was the location for the 1981 James Bond film series, which was shot in the top secret. It is decorated with murals created by the 18th century Antonios and Nikolaos brothers. The convent's well-preserved installation, which was carried in baskets, was unique. An open-air bell tower on the top of the mountain was the only one in the Maitola scenic spot.
