Heroes Square is the central square in Budapest, Hungary, a historical, artistic and political attraction. The square was built in 1896 to commemorate the Hungarian nation's 1,000-year settlement in Europe and completed in 1929. The whole complex is spacious and solemn, magnificent, symbolizing the war of the Hungarian people, the nostalgia for the historical heroes and the yearning for the good future. The historical monumental Heroes Square has become a resort for tourists at home and abroad. Whenever major festivals or foreign heads of state visit, a grand ceremony is held in Heroes Square. The Heroes Square faces the straight People's Republic Street, behind the famous city park, on the right is the largest gallery in the country, and on the left is the art gallery. Enter the square, you can see two symmetrical arc-shaped stone pillar walls, each between the stone pillars, each arranged with 7 statues of historical heroes. Above the stone wall, there are two sets of statues of warriors driving chariots. In the center of the square stands a 36-meter-high Millennium Monument pillar standing on the top of the archangel Gabriel, the angel who sympathizes with humanity and comforts humanity in the Bible, and his wings appear to have just fallen from the sky. On the base of the stone pillar, there are seven bronze statues of historical heroes riding warhorses, who were the seven leaders of the Hungarian nation when they settled here. It is really worth seeing.
