Honolulu, also known as Honolulu, is the capital and port city of Hawaii. In Hawaiian, Honolulu means "the Bay of Shielding" or "the Place of Shielding". Honolululu was called Honolululu by Chinese because it was abundant locally in the early days and was transported back to China in large quantities. Located in the southeastern corner of Zhongwahu Island in the Hawaiian Islands of the North Pacific Ocean, it extends over the riverside plain. The urban area is 217 square kilometers, with a population of about 370,000. Metropolitan areas include Oahu Island counties, covering an area of 1544 square kilometers, with a population of about 850,000, accounting for about 4/5 of the population of the state. The climate is mild, with an average annual temperature of 24 C and annual precipitation of more than 600 mm.
