I always have stayed here Westin Hapuna Resort when I visit at Big Island. Main reason is hotel guests can use freely walk down to famous Hapuna beach.Hapuna beach is so calm and beautiful long sand beach. Also, you can surely see turtles early morning. If you can't meet turtle, please go over hill on right side of Hapuna resort. If you walk staight over rock cliff about 5minutes, you can see secret beach like attatched photo.

Comparing a sports beach, whether it is a water sports or a group sport like beach volleyball. More people are participating, unlike other beaches, everyone either bask in the sun or watch the scenery

There are still a lot of people on Hapuna Beach. Due to the convenient transportation, and the three major ones here are very good. Many people are surfing, and some people simply lie on the beach to bask in the sun. It is very casual and comfortable.

Weekend time from Oahu to Maui Island, stay in Lahaina and Keawakapu for one night each. Maui Island is less quiet and the natural scenery is better. In addition, Kapalua and Wailea, located on the west and south of Maoyi Island, have a coastal hiking trail, the former is biased in nature, the latter combines private villa groups, which are very good. In fact, it tastes more than the famous Hapuna Beach.

The guide we found online recommended this beach that he became the “top 10 in the world”. Of course, this beach is very good and worth a visit, but the top 10? I don't think it is likely. If the lifeguard is not on duty and you are not a formal swimmer, be very careful surfing on the beach!
