Guishan Park is a famous scenic spot in Dukezong ancient city of Shangri-la. In front of it is Moonlight Square. The ancient city is more than 3300 meters above sea level. If you first arrive in Shangri-la, you should slow down when climbing stairs and slowly adapt to the elevation of Shangri-la. Guishan Park is free of tickets. It is recommended to spend 1-2 hours. There are three floors in the park. On the first floor, there are small pools and three outlets are springs flowing down from the mountains. Local residents will come here to fetch water. The spring water is cool and clear. Up the stairs, you can visit the whole park from: the canal, the Great Buddha Temple, the Han Temple, and other buildings. Keep in mind that there are signs clockwise up the hill. In April, the cherry blossoms in the mountains were blooming and the part-time jobs were beautiful.
