Guhuiji Temple Review

About 20 years ago, friends took me to see the ginkgo tree of ancient Huiji Temple, and it was dumped for it. Although I have been there many times since then, the golden autumn ginkgo is always haunted in my heart, and I always miss it in the late autumn. Guhuiji Temple is located in Tangquan Street, Pukou District, Nanjing City. It was built in the southern dynasty and was originally known as Tangquan Temple. Prince Xiao Tong of Zhaoming once studied here. During the Qingxianfeng years, it was destroyed in the war, and part of it was rebuilt during the Guangxu years, which was far less scale than before. More than 20 years ago, when we came, there were about 30 mu, but the ancient ginkgo trees left a deep impression on me. About 2014, the restoration of the ancient Huiji Temple will be expanded to 150 mu, using Tang style architecture.

The ancient Huiji Temple, located in Tangquan Community, is a very niche attraction. No tickets are required. There are parking lots in the courtyard and outside the door. It is very convenient to drive. The most famous in the temple is three ancient ginkgo trees for more than a thousand years. It is said that it was planted by a prince in the south. From ancient times to today, the trees are still there, and no one is missing. Now it is a must-check place for tourists who come to enjoy the scenery in autumn.

Huiji Temple is located in Tangquan Street, Pukou District, Nanjing City, also known as the ancient Huiji Temple, built in the southern dynasty, the first name of Tangquan Temple. The three rare treasures of ancient ginkgo trees in the temple have been more than 1,500 years old, and have been included in the "Chinese classical garden landscape". The Southern Dynasty Xiao Liang Zhaoming Prince Xiao Tong once studied here, and planted it by himself, the name "millennium down milk", "supporting the sky over the earth", "thunder strike recovery", still the branches and leaves are pollinating the fruit, and the white fruit is not hard, known as "Buddhist rim of the Holy Fruit".
