Gongdelin Temple Review

Gongdelin Temple is really a quiet scenic line. I am a local Tibetan who has turned in the morning. From the Jokhang Temple, along the Lhasa River, I walked all the way to Gongdelin Temple. The Gongdelin Temple at 9:30 in the morning is very quiet and the sun is shining down, which makes people feel very calm. Here are locals who are turning the scriptures and long heads. I feel that this is the original appearance of the local temple, not a scenic area! Then there are many teahouses when I go out. I see many grandfathers and grandmothers. I should have completed the morning turnaround. They are all carrying a teapot and chatting and drinking tea in it!

Passing by the bustling Deji Road, I accidentally saw a golden roof, so I went through the alleys to visit. No tickets, many young lamas. Only a few locals worship Buddha religiously. There are 2 large halls, and the believers say that one is for the Buddha and the other for the Guanyin Bodhisattva. The Buddha statue is very beautiful, the decoration is very new, the light is transparent, unlike the cloth palace and Jokhang Temple, there are large pieces of Tangka. Especially the Guanyin Bodhisattva is full of turquoise laurels. The only regret is that I couldn't find the explanation.

Deji Middle Road, Lhasa, has a small hidden temple in the city "Gong Delin Temple", Tibetan meaning "Weizang Yongan", said to have more than 200 years of history, located in an alley, very inconspicuous. The temple is equipped with gilded bronze statues of Zongkaba, Tudan Gongbu and other statues, and also treasures of awards and treasures given by emperors of the Qing Dynasty. There are few tourists here and no tickets are charged. The temple is a bit biased, so it is relatively quiet.

Gongdelin Temple is located at the foot of the Pamar Day Mountain southwest of the Potala Palace. It is one of the four major forests in Lhasa at the corner of Beijing West Road. Very quiet temple, there were not many people when it arrived, it originally wrote that the ticket was 10 yuan, but the lama didn't need us to buy the ticket to go in.
