The German Museum of History is still exquisite in its architectural style along the main road on the west side of the Museum Island, but now it is undergoing a major overhaul of its facade. The cavernous old museum is surrounded by a glass-covered courtyard on the second floor of the exhibition hall. It introduces German weapons from the earliest Prussian period and spends a large part of its area against the Nazis. Some architectural styles of the new pavilion with underground passages are more curvilinear. The main temporary exhibition areas here pay more attention to the interactive effect.
