Gaojiapu Ancient City Review

The ancient city of Gaojiabao is located on the east bank of the bawei River, 50 kilometers southwest of Shenmu County, Shaanxi Province, and about 5 kilometers northwest of the Ming Great Wall. Close to Gaojiabao, you can see some scenes in the ordinary world.

Gaojiabao Ancient City is one of the four famous castles in northern Shaanxi. Since ancient times, it has been a major commercial and trade town. It is known as the "drought pier" on the Western Port. These merchants who used to drive donkeys from the south to the north came here to sell silk, fur, salt, tea and other things. It gradually became a major town for Bianguan business and distribution. There are not many people living in this ancient town. The main street is the shooting scene of some shops and the two TV dramas "Ordinary World" and "Longling Grottoes of Ghost Blowing Lights".

The navigation is correct, there are 20 kilometers of national roads that are worse and the road is narrow. The end point is the east gate of the ancient city, next to the parking lot, parking is convenient. The main entrance is the south gate and there is also a parking lot. The ancient city is free, and the South and West Streets can be visited, each a few hundred meters. South Street should be mainly catering.
