World Heritage Site ~ The Old City of Galle, located in the southwest of Sri Lanka, is located about 100 kilometers south of the capital, Colombo, on the seafront of the Indian Ocean. The Old City of Galle and its castle architecture on the rocky peninsula, her presence fully demonstrates the interplay between European architecture and South Asian traditional architecture during the 17th and 19th centuries. Local architects have changed the original European architectural models to adapt the buildings to Sri Lanka's climate, history and culture. Here, almost every day has different styles, different feelings, here is a different style of castle, there is a strong exotic style, petty bourgeoisie, cozy, simple, clean, transparent, like the sea breeze on the face. Galle was once a British colony, because Galle experienced so much wind and rain, today's ancient city of Galle, everywhere is a variety of different styles of architecture, fascinated. It was early included in the World Heritage List. Walking in the ancient city, whether it is a villa or a flower and tree, they all make people feel their charm. Quietly, walking through the quiet streets of the ancient city, listening to the sound of the waves beating the coast outside the city, the thoughts seem to drift to the distance with the dust of history, making people seem peaceful. See the world at will

Absolutely enamored by the rich history and stunning architecture of Galle Fort in Sri Lanka. The well-preserved colonial buildings and charming cobblestone streets make it a must-see destination for history buffs and architecture enthusiasts alike. The panoramic views of the Indian Ocean from the ramparts are unparalleled. A truly magical experience!

The ancient city of Galle is worth punching in. Stay for three days, visit the ancient city, watch fishing boats return on the beach, especially the small streets, drink coffee, buy hand letters, take photos, and linger. Chatting with locals is also a great pleasure.

The 360,000 square meter ancient city of Galle lies on the rocky peninsula of Sri Lanka's southwest coast protruding into the Indian Ocean. Founded in 1859 during the Portuguese colonial period, and then expanded by the Dutch and British colonial period, it has been named a world cultural heritage site with its three beautiful scenery facing the sea and more than 160 years of human history. Under the scorching sun, with a gentle sea breeze, walking through the arcing coast of the ancient city, the square walls and gridded streets, the beautiful natural scenery and the beautiful humanistic landscape are intersecting, and the European architectural style is perfectly integrated with the traditional culture of South Asia. Busy citizens and cheerful tourists have fun... It's nice to be lazy.
