Conwallisburg was the first stone fortress built by a British governor using prisoners during the colonial period, but time migration was badly damaged. There are only a few old guns left. It's a toll-paying attraction.

4/5Excellenthistorical landmark of penang that is not to be missed. within it nestles a nice park, and some food stores. check out kota for some great food! we love visiting when there are events!

There is a cafe, an open hall, a history gallery, a souvenir center and a guide who can take you on a tour of the fort and explain its history.

It is now the main tourist attraction in Georgetown, Penang. Nowadays it houses a history gallery, and a souvenir shop.
