Wutaishan Foguang Temple in Shanxi Province is a key cultural relics protection unit in the country. It is located in Foguang New Village in Wutai County, Shanxi Province, 30 kilometers away from the county seat. The main hall in the temple is the East Hall, which was built in the 11th year of the Tang Dynasty, that is, 857 AD. From the architectural time, it is second only to the main hall of Nanchan Temple in Wutai County, which was built in Tang Jianzhong three years (AD 782), and is the second largest among the existing wooden structures in the country. Tang Dynasty sculpture, Tang Dynasty murals, Tang Dynasty title notes, historical value and artistic value are very high, people called "Four Musts". The Buddha Guang Temple has a long history, and the Buddhist relics in the temple are precious, so it is known as "Asian Buddha Light".
